Tatkal reservation in the Indian railway is a very convenient system for those who could not make reservation in the normal procedure.  ‘Tatkal’ means ‘immediate’ and this facility is available in most of the trains and train routes.  In the past, the trains on which tatkal journey was allowed were indicated with a ‘T’ at the end of the train number.  But now that system has come to an end.  If you want to avail the tatkal scheme, you need to apply at least 2 days in advance.  The 2 days prior date is exclusive of the day of journey.  This is in effect 3 days prior booking.  Tatkal trains are not exclusive for tatkal passengers only.   As a matter of fact, this facility is arranged on regular express trains. A few special coaches are attached to express trains for tatkal arrangements.

Those who are going to avail the tatkal reservation facility of the Indian railway need to know that this sort of reservation is available for the full length of the journey of the rain.  For instance, suppose the train starts from Chennai and its final stop is New Delhi, but you want to board the train at Hyderabad and detrain at Bhopal, you will have to book a ticket for the entire length of the journey of the train and not of your journey.  That is, you have to book a ticket from Chennai to Delhi, not from Hyderabad to Bhopal.   However, in some cases there are exceptions to this rule.

While you book your seat under tatkal scheme in the Indian railways, you will have to remit additional amount than the ordinary charges.  This additional charge may be Rs.50 or Rs.200 or sometimes it can be as high as Rs.200 depending on the class and distance of the journey.  In order to book ticket under the tatkal scheme, you need to produce a photo affixed Identity Document. This identification document can be your Passport, PAN Card, Credit Card, Driving License, etc.   Photo identification card is essential for the tatkal passenger on the train also when the Traveling Ticket Examiner (TTE) asks for it.  Your ID number is noted on the ticket by the TTE to ensure that the ticket is not sold in the black market.  You can book for up to a group of 6 passengers under one ticket and for that only one ID is sufficient.  Cancellation provision for tickets is not available for tatkal ticket.  You cannot cancel a tatkal ticket.  Even then, this scheme is a boon for those who are in an emergency.

August to November: Crossing the Mara River (Kenya and Tanzania)

Desperate for food, the wildebeest are forced to cross this perilous stretch of water where ranks of crocodiles await.

The rich grasslands of the southern plains support this new life and replenish the food reserves for the upcoming migration. Although not for the faint hearted, this is a visual spectacle and makes for an absolute feast for the awaiting predators! This is the only time to experience the sheer numbers of almost 2 million ungulates on the southern Serengeti plains.

The best time to travel is between February and March and the best itinerary is a combination between Wildebeest on the southern plains and the Ngorongoro Crater safari.

It is very easy for that nasty bug to go around the whole group and hygiene plays a very important role. Always wash your hands after having gone to the toilet, wash your hands before touching any food and do not share water bottles.

Although Africa is known to be home to a number of potentially dangerous species – especially snakes, scorpions, spiders, and some nasty insects – very few visitors are adversely affected. Snakes tend to be shy and generally stay away from built-up areas. Lodges and camps often have insect (especially mosquito) proofing in their rooms and tents have built in protection. If you go on a walk, it is always a good idea to wear comfortable, enclosed walking shoes, socks, and long trousers – just as a precaution.

There are four steps that you should follow if you are interested in getting a China visa for work. You will need to get a few pieces of information from your future employer in order to obtain this. You will need to posses an employment license and a valid passport as well as a valid business visa. You will also need to obtain an Application for Residence Qualifications for Working Foreigners in China. You employer will need to provide you with copies of their Industrial and Commercial Business License.
You will also need to obtain an Alien Employment Permit which will require your employer to provide their Employment License. You will also need to provide the Notification of Application for Employment Visa and Residence Permit. You will need to have an appointment for a Labor Contract or a valid one. After you have received your Alien Employment Permit it should remain valid for one year. After one year it will need to be renewed.
The fourth and final document that you will need is a Residence Permit. In order to obtain a Residence Permit you will need a valid passport and an Alien Employment Permit. You will also need to provide your Certificate of Verification for Physical Examination record for China as well as the Notification of Application for Employment Visa and Residence permit. You will to be able to prove that you had an interview for the Resident Qualification Application for Foreigners. You will also need to provide a China visa or a Residence Application Form.
After you have collected these four documents you will qualify to be issues a valid work and residence permit that will allow you to work and live in China. Normally, you will be able to live and work in China after receiving your credentials for one year before you have to renew your credentials.
