Holiday villas have long been of a certain design type – white walls, simple furniture, usually including a fold away bed plus some rather naff print of beaches and sunsets.
But, as people are becoming increasingly interested in interior design, so holiday villas are changing to become more design orientated. Owners of properties and agencies involved in villa rentals are increasingly looking to create interesting, stylish designs that go beyond the bland and utilitarian.
At the top end of the market especially, holiday villas are more likely to be interior designed to create a stylish look.  Swimming pools might have striking designs on the floors, made from tiles while inside designers are choosing individuals pieces of furniture which make every property different from the range of holiday villas on offer.
Antiques are one way to make a luxury holiday villa stand out. Technology is another area where properties are becoming more luxurious and sophisticated. Home entertainment systems that are elegant and unobtrusive and that offer a wide variety of music and films are increasingly available in homes – so why not in holiday villas?
Art is another area in which variety and individualism is important. Holiday villas at the upper end of the market are more likely to have individual paintings and prints rather than mass produced images on the walls. Choosing something that is not only striking and attractive but which has been created by a local artist helps emphasise the uniqueness of the property and anchor it in its surroundings.
You might not think that you can do much with beds – but superking sized beds are increasingly in demand in the best holiday villas as are bathrooms with luxury showers and Jacuzzis.
Those looking for luxury villa rentals not only appreciate these things, but are beginning to regard them as standard.

Sun Yat Sen Residence – Home Of The &”Father Of China&” http://balashiha.su/?p=8057 http://balashiha.su/?p=8057#respond Mon, 29 Aug 2011 17:36:30 +0000 http://balashiha.su/?p=8057 Sun Yat Sen Residence – Home Of The &”Father Of China&”

Little would one suspect that the quaint little European style house on Xiangshan Road was the former home of the man the Chinese consider to be the father of their Nation. The Sun Yat Sen residence is barely noticeable among the giant skyscrapers that have sprung up alongside it; however, it is a place that almost every tourist to Shanghai remembers to visit.

Sun Yat Sen was a fierce anti-monarchist and he was instrumental in the revolutionary struggle against the Qing dynasty, which was the final imperial family to rule China. In 1912 after overthrowing of imperial rule, Sun Yat Sen ensured his place in the history books when he became the first provisional president of the Republic of China. He later went onto found the Kuomintang of China, also known as the Chinese Nationalist Party, which became a guiding light for the future of the country in its pos- imperial era.

Despite a successful revolution against the monarchy, the party was unable to maintain control of the country. Therefore, much of Sun Yat Sen’s political life was spent in exile. Despite these setbacks, he organized numerous revolts against the Chinese warlords who threw him into exile and the Kuomintang out of power.

His tireless efforts bore fruit, but alas only after his death, with his party forming an alliance with the Communists to finally bring stability to China, following years of warring over territory by regional warlords. Today, Sun Yat Sen’s legacy lives on in his political doctrine “The Principals of People”: nationalism, democracy and the livelihood of people.

Following the death of Sun Yat Sen in 1925, his wife continued to occupy the residence until the Imperial Japanese invasion of Shanghai in 1937. The furniture, the paintings and the memorabilia over the fireplace are all items that were used by Sun Yat Sen himself. Historical manuscripts and photographs detailing the life and times of the great man are also displayed for the benefit of the public. This important historical landmark located close to the financial district  appear within easy reach of business accommodation Shanghai such as a Luxury serviced residence Shanghai offered by Somerset Xu Hui.  Their serviced apartments in the area affords business travelers great access to the city’s business district as well as the city’s major attractions.

All About Worldwide City-Traveling http://balashiha.su/?p=774 http://balashiha.su/?p=774#respond Sat, 23 Apr 2011 01:24:47 +0000 http://balashiha.su/?p=774 All About Worldwide City-Traveling

Our modern world is something very fantastic, when you look at all the travel opportunities we have, and all these many ways to ride. This world shines only beautiful and bright, what could be there a problem. And we have all these buses, trains, ships, airplanes, to get to any place in the entire world with ease.
What is the truth.
It is the individual, who decides, to go for a vacation, but actually many don’t. They think, spending money for it is pure luxury and staying at home would easily make up for it. But this is not completely true. Living all year long at home, with planning for new furniture, or saving for better car or TV, does not bring the necessary satisfaction. Real relaxation from stress, workload and all the other ongoing responsibilities, does not take place in making one’s home look better, putting up expensive wallpaper, or driving a more attractive car.
Personal relaxation is proven as being something complete different than just money, car or TV. It is a very intimate spiritual thing, and cannot get measured up with luxury. Relaxation is, where one is alone or with one’s family and has lots of time together. It will create new joy and happiness with talking about things, never said since a long time. It may happen to be the very first moment, where daddy really talks freely to his children and is finding out by surprise, that the son is not as good in Math and needs some help. The wife is happy since ever, realizing that everybody is together, getting close attention, and here and there a kiss with some very lovely whispered words. This all did not happen since a long time. It is the moment, a family can re-union and makes new plans for the next year. This is much better, than any other plan made during the entire year, only for one’s job or for a WAL-Mart shopping cart.
This is the truth. Now let’s see, what can be really done.
An educated person knows, that there are several very different possibilities, how to spend vacation time most wisely. One should know them and choose the one, which fits best to the interests and also circumstances of the family. There should be a talk with all together after dinner.
Where does everybody wants to go, and how many people is it. Does the majority want to swim and lay sunbathing on a beach, or do they want to swim, but also climb the mountains? What will be the best destination? Flight tickets for a family, might be more expensive than just the gasoline for a car, but it might waste lots of valuable vacation time, driving there. But an intelligent evaluation on all the asked for travel possibilities will then discover, what is the best deal for this year, with the most fun and variety, everybody would like to enjoy.
The main actions for selecting the right destination from several offers of real value, are
1. Sitting together and talking about everybody’s ideas and personal likings.
2. To get an overall agreement, what the best solution is for a decent destination.
3. The money has to be somehow made available, so one can book and pay.
4. The tickets and plans are in everybody’s hands now, waiting for the adventurous trip to happen.
An ideal solution can be beaches, where Florida has some very excellent locations for that, or let’s take a cruise, the offers are pretty cheap and the environment of a ship can give you an exciting change in atmosphere. If you are able to spend some more money, then go more international. Europe is the most attractive area for having the most beautiful cities and places, and one can learn about other exciting civilizations and people.
But the main point is, you take your family this year and go. Surprise them all a bit with some exotic hotel and flight booking.
